Snowman Popsicle Craft

Whether it’s the need for something to do on a snowy day or a winter themed craft you need for a play date or school share, here is a simple, inexpensive, winter craft to do with the kids: A snowman popsicle craft with a popsicle stick, felt, construction paper, cotton balls, small pom-poms, scissors and glue.

Since it is so simple, it’s a craft for a variety of ages. Kids can glue cotton balls on the craft stick. The ideal would be three, but children can use their imaginations! Your crafters can then use small pom-pons for the buttons, and beady eyes. For the older kids, you can let them cut out hats and a carrot nose using construction paper, and cut their own snowman scarf using the felt. For younger kids, have some precut selections and they just have to glue them on.

If you have a smaller craft budget, skip the felt scarf, beady eyes and smaller pom-poms for the buttons, and just use construction paper  – without needing to purchase more craft items.

Children can write their names on the back or a special saying or wish. Then give them as gifts for family members, or glue them on a blue or white gift bag for a fun embellishment.
