Red Sox Out of the Park Event

This post is over 30 days old, and this event is now over. Please visit our events section for current events.

One of the team’s best family-friendly events of the year!

redsoxmoms_circleOn Sunday, September 13, 2015, the Boston Red Sox, the City of Boston and Highland Street Foundation have a free Red Sox event that includes big-screen live broadcast of the Boston Red Sox game against the Tampa Bay Rays, classic Fenway food and family-friendly activities on the Boston Common. This premier location provides the perfect opportunity to grab a blanket, pack a picnic and enjoy a live NESN broadcast of the Red Sox away game on a giant projector screen.

Fans can enjoy the seventh inning stretch at the Red Sox Out of the Park event by participating in giveaways or by meeting caricaturists, balloon artists and face painters. Familiar Fenway tastes will also be available with free Hood ice cream and famous Fenway Franks by Kayem.

Adding to the atmosphere of a Fenway game, the event will feature Wally the Green Monster, Red Sox DJ TJ Connelly, the Hot Tamales Brass Band and a live game announcer. “Out of the Park” is free and open to the public. For more information, visit the Highland Street website.

The event starts at 1pm and the live broadcast of the game begins at 1:10pm. Enter at the Corner of Charles and Beacon Street. Parking in the local garages are available, free street parking on Sundays or take the T to the Boylston stop on the Green line.
