The Red Sox will host a “Baseball Winter Weekend” from Friday, January 22nd through Sunday January 24th, 2016 where fans young and old will have an opportunity to interact with players, hear from owners, and listen to roundtable discussions on a variety of baseball topics.

The event takes place at Foxwoods Resort and Casino. It’s a fun opportunity with something for every age group.

  • Kids can take photos with Wally, meet Wally’s sister Tessie, get their pictures with the World Series Trophies, and test their fastball at the Red Sox pitching booth.
  • Young and old fans will have a chance to meet players and get autographs. This is the only event where so many current and former players will be signing autographs for fans. More than forty (40) players, coaches and alumni are currently expected to attend.
  • Adults can listen to panel discussions, hear stories from the 1986 team as they recall the anniversary of that season, and even spend time taking in all things baseball!
