Healthy Families Festival

The Healthy Families Festival as part of the Family Series at TCAN ( The Center for Arts in Natick) is an opportunity for MetroWest families to come together to celebrate eating well, staying active, and living naturally as a family.

Also partnering with TCAN are two local nonprofits: The Natick Community Organic Farm, a nonprofit, certified-organic farm providing productive open space, farm products, and hands-on education to people of all ages, year-round, and the South Middlesex Opportunity Council’s MetroWest Harvest initiative, a food rescue program established in 1989 by community leaders to bring quality-donated food and prepared meals to shelters and food pantries where they are distributed to those in need.

Rolie Polie Guacamole is a hip “kindie” band from Brooklyn, NY. Their high energy, interactive shows are a mix of funk, rock, and folk music mashed into original tunes about natural living, eating healthy, and staying active. At Rolie Pole Guacamole shows you will see kids marching, rubbing their tummies, and mashing hummus in their imaginary hummus bowls.

The event is on Saturday, June 28 from 11am – 1pm, and is free to the public. Parking is metered. Allow plenty of time to find parking and drive to the area as it can be very busy.
