Harvard Sweet Boutique: Delicious Delights

The Harvard Sweet Boutique is not in Harvard, MA. Nor is it in Cambridge, next to Harvard University. Rather, the Harvard Sweet Boutique is in Hudson, MA and is a sweet treat within the borders of Metrowest MA. I was sent a selection of goodies to be part of some Harvard Sweet Boutique Reviews, and…let’s just say, it was not a hardship. Getting to savor the Chocolate Chip Cookies, Vanilla Sea Salt Caramel Brownies, Cinnamon Sugar Snickerdoodles, and the Artisanal Chili Chocolate Brownies. Wowza.

The cookies were really good, but truthfully, really good cookies are in many places. Though I do love the fact they have gluten free and low carb offerings. (The gluten free cookie was my favorite out of all the cookies I tasted.) What made me drool in delight, however, were the two brownies I had, the Chili and the Caramel. Truly ‘worth the drive to’. I haven’t tasted anything like these anywhere else!

In addition to the melt-in-your-mouth brownies, I really loved the focus of the Harvard Sweet Boutique. Beautiful packaging in pretty boxes, filled with sugary goodness, delivered to your door. I can totally see the potential here: corporate gifts, holiday gifts, college care packages mother’s day/father’s day, birthdays, and the never-enough-thank you days. All from a local company with 21 boxes and bows from which to choose and over 20 treats: pretty and sweet, tart and trendy, elegant and sophisticated, fresh and modern, seasonal and sensational.

I also love how they have Boston Strong cookies.

There is a cookie of the month club and party favors. I especially love how they take their boxes of sweet favors and make centerpieces for bridal showers, baby showers, anniversary celebrations, birthdays and more. (I have the sudden urge to host a party.)

The website is really easy to navigate. You can search by price, occasion, product, flavor. They have a small selection of gluten free and low carb treats too, but it is not a nut-free bakery. Shipping is around $5 for places in New England from what I could tell (reasonable in my opinion) and everything is around $20 or so (give or take.) You can ship anywhere in the country (but not overseas.)

So the next time you are wondering what to bring for a housewarming party or for a hostess gift, for a business account or a birthday bash, skip some of the 800 numbers, and go local with these luxe treats.
