polarexpress Polar Express Train Ride Massachusetts 2012 Are you looking for a Polar Express Train Ride in Massachusetts this holiday season?

The Polar Express comes to life this holiday season as the Cape Cod Central Railway (and other select stations) rolls out of the station bound for the “North Pole!” in November and December 2012.

Grab your pjs, your Christmas Spirit and climb aboard with your family to cozy-up and enjoy hot chocolate, a yummy cookie and Polar Express music.

Then hear The Polar Express read aloud as train magically arrives at the North Pole village where Santa Claus himself and his elves welcome you to his village! Santa will gift each child with the first gift of Christmas: a bell cut from his sleigh and will join the children (and all those who believe!) with Christmas caroling on the trip back home.

Tickets can be bought here and trains depart from Hyannis or Buzzards Bay (with one special weekend where trains depart from Sandwich). Coach tickets are $29 for adults and $24 for children (2-12).

You are encouraged to wear your pajamas (with closed toe slippers or shoes) and bring your copy of the book on the ride. Leave enough time to park and embark. While a cookie and a cup of hot chocolate are provided to each guest, you are allowed to bring other snacks and drinks with you but no coolers or glass bottles.) Car seats and strollers are allowed, but strollers are required to be collapsed before boarding.

November dates are:

November 15-18, 20-21, 23-25, 27-30

December dates are:

December 1-2, 4-9, 11-16, 18-23, 26-30

Here is a sneak preview to get you in the holiday spirit!
